 To save her job, Tansy slips into a soldier's leathers and reluctantly enters a bridal auction, her heart heavy but recognizing the chance she can't afford to miss. 

When Cohlgar, the brooding orc warrior whose foot she accidentally injured days before, wins her bid, she’s left bewildered by the otherworldly pull she feels towards him. 

Torn between skepticism about his intentions and an undeniable connection, Tansy must navigate her new life with an orc who might just be everything she never knew she needed. Will she embrace her unexpected nuptials, or resist the bond that draws them together?
